Free entry. Call ahead so someone can show you around.
Drive towards Vallandai and the road tells the story before we do — kilometres of dry, thorn-covered ground on both sides. Then the gate, and suddenly mango groves and coconut palms.
People come here for different reasons. Some want fruit at the gate. Some are farmers who want to see the water system. Some are just curious about a Punjabi farming settlement in Ramanathapuram. All are welcome.
Open 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. No entry fee, no limit on group size. Please call ahead on +91 76529 62838 so someone is free to show you around. A meal is offered to visitors.
You can see working orchards across nine crops, the drip irrigation and reservoir system, the solar installation and bio-gas unit, the dairy that feeds the trees, and the prayer hall at the centre of the campus. In season, fruit is picked and sold fresh at the gate.
For farmers. If you farm dry or degraded land, we will walk you through the whole system — water storage, drip layout, crop selection, spacing, inter-cropping — and answer whatever you want to ask. Groups have come from across the region for exactly this. There is no charge.
